Half Rez Opening Titles 2024

Half Rez is a lovely animation conference that takes place in Chicago. I’ve been going since 2016, and have always gotten a lot out of it. When they asked me to make the opening title sequence, I was so excited! Although my life had some twists and turns as I made them, which I share in this video.

I worked on this over 15 months, in which time I worked a fulltime job, had a baby, and had my appendix burst. During the conference, I was asked to share my process in a talk - in which I shared my creative and personal process. Since talks weren’t recorded, this is a recreation of it. Thanks for looking!
